Sustainability Work Featured in Journal
DURHAM, N.C. -- Jay Golden, director of the Duke Center for Sustainability & Commerce, is the lead author of an article published in the latest edition of the Journal of Industrial Ecology.
The article describes sustainability trends in both government and industry, and highlights common approaches and needs as more organizations adopt programs to address the environmental and social impacts of their operations.
"The playing field for corporations is dramatically changing," said Golden. "Those companies who innovate in producing products that use less energy, water and critical resources throughout their life cycle are emerging as the winners."
The article is co-authored by colleagues from Yale and Arizona State universities. To read the full article, visit http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.1530-9290.2011.00381.x/full.
